polar clock reading

i'm confused about how to read the polar clock- i understand the outer 3 are sec, min, hrs. but the inner circles are supposed to be the month and the day, correct? both of my inner circles have disappeared and i'm confused. can anyone explain this to me?
 
don't wanna resurrect this old topic, but found this question while searching google for the same answer :) the answer is :
Protovis - PolarClock
in short, from the ouside ring : seconds, minutes, hours, day (of the week), day (of the month), month

The inner circle represents the days of the month, so you should see 19/31 of a 360 degree arc today!:cool:

I am resurrecting this old post because it seems no one ever had actually read your question and answered accordingly. I have seen guys that have provided instructions on how to read a polar clock, but no one actually has told you why your inner rings are not working..
I found this post with Google because my LG Optimus Android Polar Clock has the exact same problem as you.. My outer rings showing the seconds, minutes, and hour are working great, but there is no way the inner two rings accurately represent the day and month, I dont care HOW i interpret them.. There is NO ring at all for the date, and the month is only a half arc blue line which in no way could possibly represent November.
I wish SOMEONE would ANSWER this post with an accurate answer.
WHY is there NO RING for the date in the polar clock for Android?
Anyone?

"Disappeared?" As in, they were there before but now are not?

It's important, for all of us, to specify the app that we're referring to. My Polar Clock Live Wallpaper from HTC (unless it was T-Mobile that installed it, but I suspect HTC), has Sec, Min, Hour, and Date of the month. An easy way to check this is to manually set your phone's time to 23:58, and watch the clock change over at midnight. Should indicate what rings are indicating what.

As to why any are missing ... quien sabe? My live wallpaper doesn't have every ring, and only the developer could tell why. (shrug)
