polish apps

Have just bought the Samsung galaxy note and its full of polish apps, go figure. I bought it off an Australian Web site. First question is can I get rid of these apps without rooting. Second question Is, when I get the ice cream sandwich up date in the new year, will it get rid of these things. Third question is, if I decide to root it, will I still be able to update it to ice cream sandwich. I realize that you might not know much about the Samsung note due to it not being released in America yet, but the people on this site are very cluey to these sort of things. Also I think I should mention that the operating system is slightly different to the Samsung gs2. Don't know if that would make any difference. Thank you for any information that I might receive. PS. Great site full of great . Sorry about being a noob

Because they listen good to the experiences of early adopters like yourself... ;)
But because the Samsung Note is really a new 'class' of mobile device, with a proprietary OS, even if based on Android, you're really out in unknown territory, my friend. You are the brave explorer! What happens on your Note could be radically different from any other Android version.
