Are you talking SMS or instant message?

I love kakao talk.....
People also use whatsapp, and viber.

Kakao talk has everything one needs for instant messaging. Push messages, send videos, pictures, anything you want

I meant IM client for messaging over other platforms!

Given how pervasive GTalk is (desktops, EVERY android device, and available as an app on other competing smartphone platforms), I'm hardpressed to value another IM over it.

Kakao talk is available on other phones a well..in know it is for iPhone as well.

even if it is not on a phone, ie iPad, touch or galaxy tab.

I also enjoy Gtalk too!

I've tried IMO but hate how often it gets closed by android so your offline and don't know it. Really interested to read other peoples experiences.

My favorite right now is IM+ and I've used a majority of them. imo is also kind of cool to had to use that as a replacement cause my ICS rom made im+ not work.

The thing with Gtalk is that it doesn't have the ability to include more than one gmail addresses. My secondary gmail is what I use to talk to people but Gtalk is set to my primary account, so I am unable to use the app to chat.

I've gone back and forth from IMO, eBuddy (which I'm currently using) trillian and IM+ for the past couple of years.

I refuse to use IM+ due to its excessive permissions. I emailed them about the permissions and they never replied back. So I have blacklisted that app.

I liked IMO until I started having FC issues last year. I'm currently using eBuddy and although it's good, it's nowhere near as good as IMO with its features. IMO allows group chat, to save chat history and link attachments. I used Trillian when it came out but at that time, it had the highest battery drain of all the IM apps I've tried.

I'm going to try IMO again and see if there's any bugs with it. If not, I think it's the best IM app.

Odd, I use multiple gmail accounts with GTalk on my Galaxy Nexus. Is this a new ICS feature?

I talked to a friend about this, and I think it is a ICS feature. He gave me the apk, so I'm going to test it out. If it works...it will be my very first time using the Gtalk app! lol
