[Poll] What type of TV to buy

I am going to buy a new tv and would like some input on whether I should buy a 3D or non 3D HDTV

My husband insisted on 3D, which might potentially become significant, but for right now, it's more a gimmick, so far as I can tell. Just not much programming in 3D.

It's really up to your personal preference. I think 3D is gimmicky and doesn't add anything to the experience. I don't like wearing 3D glasses, and they are expensive. There isn't much 3D content and the 3D blu-rays are more expensive as well. However, if you enjoy 3D, then get a 3D TV.
