poor battery life after recent Kies firmware update

hey,

I have had the Galaxy S2 for 5 months already. Recently, I installed Kies and it asked me to update the firmware, which I did. I also tried to sync music with Kies, which always fails at 65% and stops continue.....

Anyway, since then, my battery is drained from the "Android OS" about 10% every hour (It lasted more than a week without charging before)

Does anybody have a guess whats wrong here?

SOLVED: I was asked by Samsung service to do a complete reset of the phone, which solved the problem.

Mine has also taken a turn for the worse, though only the last couple of days - and it's been a week or two since I did the latest firmware upgrade. The phone used to drain pretty much exactly 1% battery per hour on idle, now it's up to 3-4% and I haven't got a clue what's going on as I haven't really done any major changes with my phone - aside from installing Spotify a few days ago when the service launched here in Denmark, but surely an app can't cause such an increase in battery drain when it's (or its widgets) not even running?
