Poor Music Quality

Hi Guys I have an Samsung Galaxy Ace and dragged some music files onto the SD card from my MacBook Itunes, they do play but are poor quality, any ideas as to what's wrong.
I'm new to Android.

Is the sound just flat, or do you hear noise or skipping? If it's just flat, try PowerAmp, you can download the free trial from the Market. The stock music players that come with Android phones usually sound pretty terrible. It uses a custom DSP so sound quality should improve. When you download it, play around with the equalizer and bass/treble settings, it helps a lot.

Are you talking about the speaker or through earphones? What are defining as poor quality?

It does seem to skip in the background, it just spoils the sound, I will try another player.

Got it sorted Guys! Have got the trial version of PowerAmp and it's great, I will pay for it now it's ok.
