I had the 300 and gave up on it due to wonky keyboard function and random but frequent resets due to the power button design.

I even returned my T100 since the button had a similar design that seemed prone to also fail at some point.

The 701 has keyboard issues like the 300. Apparently worse.

Will respectfully not buy another Asus product.

Sorry to hear that you've had a bad experience with Ausu.

I love my TF300T and dock. I've had mine now for a year and a half and haven't had any issues whatsoever. Have you tried any of the other keyboard apps from Google Play? They have some nice ones that are free. I use the paid version of Swiftkey and it does a great job. As for my dock keyboard, it works perfectly. I just use it last night as a matter of fact.

As for the power button design, that's usually not the cause of the random rebooting. Unfortunately, it's usually the stock ROM that's the cause. I unlocked my bootloader, rooted and flashed a custom recovery the very 1st day I had tablet home. The TF300T has many custom ROMs to choose from too. I've been running CM11 for quite sometime now and am very happy with it.
