pop-up notification

I am trying to create a profile that will set off a sound when a specific set of words pop up on the screen. I am having a hard time finding a way to get Tasker to read the screen. I'm sure there is more then one way to make this happen but am having a hard time finding it.

What are the words you are looking for?
What app is creating the words?
Is your device root-ed?

Monitoring a condition is typically done by an app putting out a notification and a notification watcher detecting when it appears
