Pop ups

Even when I have pop ups disabled using either the stock browser or chrome I still get pop ups from sites. The most annoying being new pages opened in a new tab. How can I prevent this? I came from using iOS and never had this issue. I'm coming to realise that iOS is clearly a far more polished software in terms of reliability and performance albeit less features but still a LOT smoother.

I dont know mate. A lil tip though.. ive noticed that people negatively comparing android to ios dont seem to get very positive replies lol especialy if the comparison has nothing to do with the question

Been using Android for a couple of years. I don't think I have ever had a "pop-up". Just like ANY web surfing, it just depends on the site not the browser.
