Help pop (Yahoo mail) is duplicating.

My friends mom just got the razr, her first ever smart phone and I've been assisting her to set it up. We set up her default Yahoo mail account and she is getting duplicate and triplicate emails for some reason. I had her delete the account on the phone and suggested she clean out her mail box on the computer and re-try adding the account to the phone because her mail box has a ton of emails was thinking maybe that may be causing it to bug out on the phone.

If anyone could give me advice I'd be grateful since I basically talked her out of an iPhone. Thanks.

use the yahoo email app. free in the market. push email, syncs the entire mailbox.
