Root (Port) Behold 2 1.6 ( No Twiz w/ Busybox & Rooted Kernel )

Yo bhman how do I do factory reset on this phone?I get the boot menu select "wipe data" then "factory reset",after that I get "push home to wipe data",i push home than screen says "wiping data",but when phone boots nothing is reset.Sht is really agrevating im I mising something on how to do system reset?

Factory reset is under settings -> sd card and phone storage

Unless your talking about a different reset?
 
You dont see what im saying,when I do factory reset through options or through holding vol+send+power buttons it now takes you to another boot menu instead of regular reset.When I try to factory restore from new boot menu it doesnt work.

I just flashed dots and I downloaded titanium backup from the market without issue.

I had to reboot to get root working for titanium.

I am now restoring my apps and system data.
 
The recovery menu is awesome. It made partitioning the SD card super easy. I guess i'll have to try some a2sd now :-) Simply Brilliant.

Much faster as well, thanks for adding back the CPU scaling.

this just happened to me as well...and when i checked the settings/about phone and looked at the build number it says "DONUT BH_MAN No Twiz"

i'm not sure what it said before the spontaneous reset, but thats what it says now...

also, after the reboot, apps that i had installed when i went back to 16_No_Twiz were back (i figure a factory reset will solve this, but thought it was worth pointing out)
 
The market problem by google was fixed earlier today. If it hasn't naturally fixed itself, clear gmail and market caches and relogin. At last resort, login to another account to at least test it works. Goodluck, I know the frustrating feeling.

please tell me you didnt get suckered into paying for something that google offers for free? if not, dont install that crap app even if you do find someone with it, totally not worth it. like it said, google offers it free with the google map app you have already on the phone. it even talks to you! good luck anyway

having this same issue..and neither reset approach worked for me either. i dont really have a good reason to be wiping anyway, but thought i'd start fresh with the new rom
 
have you tried rebooting the phone? this happen to me sometimes randomly, i have vibrate then suddenly lose it and works after rebooting
 
BH! Quick Question— I got my first gppas, phone, messaging, dialer FC's with TWIZ, but they stuck around in both Twiz and Dots. Everything works great except for making phonically right now. Are you hearing anymore about this still being an issue with a lot of people/testers?

I've used both and I like them both, but I like free better. If you need the live traffic notifications and re-route options included with the traffic notifications then telenav is for you. It is on the market but it is $69.99. Google Maps Navigation is free and it caches your route on your phone. Telenav does not. So, if you loose your GPS signal then telenav shuts down after a few minutes of not receiving a signal.

Did you Bother to Read the OP? Menu does the Reset!
 
Hang in there Guys... Working with a New launcher.. so at 6pm I'll know if it's worth adding it to a New version... So far since adding it... Battery Life has been better, plus I really Pref. this launcher..

Cool man good to hear. For me at least, DOTS appears to be running much smoother than the original NoTwiz release. Excited for whatever you have in store for us!

I'm trying to let my battery die so I can charge it while off to fully calibrate... but it's been running for 2 days straight with no charge. I finally got the little message to plug it in. Heh :p

Edit: Yay! It finally died!

"this launcher" the one thats already on the DOTS rom or the new one you may be possibly adding?
