Root (Port) Behold 2 1.6 ( No Twiz w/ Busybox & Rooted Kernel )

okay, new Kernel Edit's seem to make things much happier, but then again I never had issue's but I can see even on my Phone a speed increase & some lag is gone as well...
Take this as you will !!!

Kernel edit's
- Child set to 0 ( No Settings previously )
- On boot / On init also now Repairs SH / SU
- Changed Memory Allocations for Home App's to 1536 / was at 4098

Please Report Back with Initial thoughts & Final Thoughts so I can maybe Remedy this as fast as I can... Thanks.
Testers / Root Issue user's only Please!
ODIN Ready Download > kernel.tar

Well, I don't know about the Rest of you, but I'll be making the New Kernel the default kernel from now on... Huge Difference with it in preliminary test results so far...

First, BH_MAN thanks for all the great work you do! I am using warheads and everything seems to be working fine.

I have a question. I installed AdvancedLauncher and would like to remove Home++. On the Applications management list there is no option to uninstall Home++, only the updates that I downloaded from the market. Any ideas?

BH_MAN_16_No_Twiz Download > BH_MAN_DOTS.zip - i dl this so far its working great, ive only noticed one issue, when writing or copying to the sim card it force closes... any way to fix that?

mind as well ask, what on earth is warheads? first time ive seen that pop up?

LOL its the name of that sour candy!

To people having force closing on odin....
load up ops, then start at the top and once it force closes let it finish searching for a solution and then close it... after that open odin back up and the fiels you previously loaded should still be there...then load the rest of the files and it should work! Hope this works for you!

Please read OP:

Change Log for WarHeads..
--- This Update You will Be flashing BOOT / PHONE / PDA --- If the Phone\ODIN Freezes when Loading all 3, flash Bootloader First, then Phone, Followed by PDA..

1.6 No TWIZ
So far i notice no changes.

You wont notice them unless you go digging for it :D
But, does make Back end process alot smoother when shutting down an app not being used to free up more memory... Which in Reality will increase Batter Life as well as now the Child's are now Defined in the init.rc

Also by Limiting the Home App to 1536 in the init.rc also makes for a Smoother Home :D

The rest will only be noticed by people that was having issue / Lag with Dialer & Root Issue's..

Quick question. In odin where do I load this file to flash it?

Yes, please make sure you use OPS them the files included with Warheads ROM. The invalid image type is fine, click ok, it will load, just click start.

@BH_MAN, Warheads is not allowing my phone to sleep at all, and I've tried everything except replacing the Home++, so I'm thinking I should go back to advanced launcher and see if that fixes it. Also I can't wait to install your new kernel, because in every rom lately, Iv'e been having the worst luck with the BACK button!

The flavor that i am using is the no twiz, not twix, not DOTS, not warheads.

@BH_MAN I'm sure i'll notice a difference here after a day or so. 1 hour of testing doesn't really do it ;)
