it has major data issues right from source being beta. if you flash apns fix it kills systemui

Miui has a full g2 miui7 romhtml
lready flashed some of the files over to my volt but if you ask me its just a bunch of bloat. In the end I just ganked all the theme images and added them to my collection for smart launcher.

cant get miui to boot past bootscreen. going to have to setup to get logs during boot to see whats stopping the ports from booting. can get most 4.4.4 roms based on cm11 booted fine. data is where things get screwed. going to have to consult with whoshotjr2006 and others to see what i need to leave in base rom versus what i take out and replace with ported rom items in order to get data going. amy attempts to activate data via apn fixes causes either a looping effect with system ui closing and restarting or it simply kills systemui completely in other roms. oddly enough ive not replaced any hardware modules the boot image may need to run modem etc...either way theres issues.

nah never use irc. I got the data stuff worked out. going to fix data sdcard etc on an miui one of our users sent me he ported but couldnt get the data and other things working...matter of patching framework res,telephone services and a few jar files. will with his permission post it after I get to it. working on two other ports at the moment getting them resolved.

the calling and data won't work even after patching framework res. what will happen is either a looping crash of systemui or android phone process loops in failure. I don't think fiui has data implemented at beta 2.5 thus the crashes.

I actually revisited this just this morning hoping to get the data fixed. ended up with the crashes. although I did miss a few of the files tquetski mentions. may have to go at it one last time...although I still do believe the beta does not have data capabilities available. but will see tomorrow morning before work.

Any plans for instruction on how you ported ROMs correctly to the Volt (i.e. PAC),Then there would be more assistance on making multiple ROMs for this device.
