Root ( Port ) Galaxy 1.6 on the Behold 2 Final

anyone have any luck finding the vibe app yet? ive been looking but not able to find it yet. This is the only thing stopping me from doing this as I have to have vibe working first.
 
I don't know if this will help. I don't have 1.6 installed yet. Click the droid geek [dot] com: Android Stopped Vibrating - Fixed There is is an app called Sound Manager. User believes that the vibrate was busted by using timeriffic. Sounds like there is some setting needed to make vibrate work

One thing I wanted to point out, twiz would not illuminate the physical keys when only using the touch screen, and this flash does. Is there a work around or fix for this? Not a huge deal, just trying to conserve as much battery power as possible.
 
Hello everyone,

After I updated to the R1 version (and did factory reset) I have a problem with my Gallery app. When I open it after doing some scanning on whats on the SDCARD it FC with the following message

The application Camera (process com.android.camera) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

Any ideas?

wont go in to downloader now. just reboots with the new kernel and old build and radio doesn't work i need serious help!

Seconding the gallery crashing. I have a lot of images on my phone and it was fine cacheing them for thumbnails and crashed after looking at the "shutdown" folder.
 
On certain apps I'm not getting root access (Titanium Backup). I'm doing a 2nd reboot now to see if it will work.

EDIT - Got it working after 2nd reboot
 
Everything is working well except the glitch on the gallery and apparently my 1 paid app doesnt show up.
 
*Edit again, sorry! Try the instructions below for VoiceSearch*

1.) Download VoiceSearch

2.) Copy to your SD Card

3.) Install VoiceSearch with app installer

4.) Remove and re-add your desktop search widget.

The voice search seems to crash on first use with the widget, every use thereafter works fine.

You may also need to install text to speech extended and run it for the first time. Still flaky, will look into this later tonight when I get home from work, unless someone beats me to a fix!

It would be a PITA, but you could try going back to stock and backing the apps up using something like Astro's App Manager. Then odin 1.6 and reinstall Astro, and restore the apps backed up from the SD Card.
