Delete the random songs that come preloaded on the SD Card. Sometimes when your reboot, if the selected notification/ringtone sound is on the SD card it will default to something else, I found deleting those preloaded songs helped clear up the issue.

I was waiting for R8, but finally broke down and installed R7 last night (worked flawlessly btw), reinstalled all of my software, got everything set up the way I like it, and then I look this morning and there's R8 (which I'll install tonight)! Thanks for all of the hard work BH_MAN, enjoy your break!

Installed R8. So far works great! Looks and feels great! Wonderful job yet again!! I love it! :-)

Btw if you get a chance can you go on IRC so I can ask you a quick question!

Please do not spam this posting with Yahoo Email as this is something with Android Phone in general and not specific to BH_Man's rom... This has also been answered multiple times in the main BH2 Forum if you just looked or searched... Here are two posts about it:

OK for all of u that don't already know. I am not that good with this stuff.. If i ask a question its bc i have looked for the answer and other theads do not work like they say..... I really don't like people to think i am bugging them....THANKs

Thanks BHMAN! Quick question though, if I have apps to sd, if I install this new version over R7, and put my sd card back in, will I have all those apps again? OR is there a way to keep them? Thanks!
 
Been trying to update to r8 but my laptop wont recognize the phone. I have tried all the usb ports, a different laptop and it gives me the same thing USB Device Not Recognized". Any people have any suggestions. i really want to update.

Have you updated before? It could be a windows driver issue
