Root ( Port ) Galaxy 1.6 on the Behold 2 Final

GPS isn't used unless there's an application running that requires it, and background data doesn't do anything unless you're running programs that require constant data usage. Check the programs you're running to make sure these aren't happening. Also, if you're running a lot of widgets that update frequently (twitter, facebook, weather/news etc), that will drain it quick too. Most likely, your phone is just not sleeping properly. and a reboot after charging should fix that

Agreed, I made that recommendation because, I had to manually turn GPS off after I flashed R10 because it wouldn't turn off automatically so I was thinking he was having the same problem?

Bh,you musta got this rom out of your private stash. This phone is as smooth as Nexus now.Im not even flashing again till you bless us with 2.1.Thanx.

You shouldn't have to turn everything off. Wireless location is useless if you allow GPS location, and GPS location doesn't actively drain your battery.

I have to disagree. Wireless location works in conjunction with GPS, it's not useless. It helps lock your location much faster, and it works indoors.

Every radio that you have ON drains the battery, even if it's idle. Bluetooth, GPS, 3G, WiFi, each one has his own radio and each one drains the battery. That's why you have the option to turn them off.

Its called AGPS

I've been running Warheads for about a week now and I'm overall impressed with it. I'm considering, however, moving to this ROM.

Release Notes aside, and the obvious vibe issues, can anyone let me know if this ROM otherwise runs without any issues and all features work as intended?

Exactly right, wireless location is the main culprit (at least for me) on my BHII that causes it NOT to sleep as it should when idling.

All others I can leave them on (GPS, Wifi, Bluetooth) without any sleep problems.

And if your phone sleeps and battery calibrated (after a few full charge/discharge cycles on the same rom), battery life should feel 'normal' (around 2 days if minimal usage; 1.5 days moderate usage and 1 day for heavy usage).

SU not working! Rerooted and no help. I also tried

adb shell
cd /system/bin
chmod 04755 sh
chmod 04755 su
exit
Now Reboot / Power Off the Phone.

and helpless! does anyone else have an issue with SU and also voice when in navigation?

I complained a lot about the theme and launcher in prior builds but I have no complaints here. Thanks for seeing this through BH man, best ROM yet, good job. I'm also done flashing... until 2.1....

There is no simple Fix atm for this.....

@Everyone
Asking about root beyond this Point I will ignore...
It not a pinpoint issue... Some apps work fine while others fail..

on the battery isue, i guess ill just wait a couple more days. i unplugged it from the charger and rebooted it and then it already appeared at only 97% and has gone to 94% in a couple of minutes with no usage

I'm having the same issue benny, I'll post tomorrow morning with my uptime and battery life after letting it sit overnight. I think it just needs to calibrate

just got it running, very fast and smooth, it made my wifi work sucks vibrate doesnt work and only 3 screens....

You can put as many home screens as you want.Push "Menu" button from home screen, than go to "More" than to "Extended" than "Home screen".

Another tip that half of ya dont know about. When you open up the Launcher hold and drag any app to the recycle bin,you will see an option "Hide from Launcher".It will let you hide apps from launcher. This is really usefull, because you can put apps that you rearly use in a folder and hide them from the launcher,so when you open the launcher you wont have to search through 50 apps to find your favorite ones.3 months of using android and i just found that out, lol.

The hide from launcher is an Advanced Launcher feature, not a stock Android feature. You can also uninstall an app that way. Very handy and a good mention.

Think i found a bug. Google Maps Navigation crashing after i click on navigate. TTS Service (process android.tts). Think its missing the TTS Im suppose to download for navigation?

Update: Download the Speech Synthesis but still crashing. Need advice.

@ Benny, reboot your phone again. I did a 2nd reboot and have been sitting at 74% for about 45 mins. Go into your settings -> about phone -> battery usage and see if IDLE is in there. Or lock your phone, wait 5 mins, and hit "MENU" and see if the buttons light up. if they don't, you should be good. If they do, reboot your phone.

Okay... Odd thing I noticed today...

To save Battery I Toggle to 2G when not using data & Have Location on, So far on my Phone anyways it sleeps better with 2G than being on 3G, idk might be due to less battery being used for the radio to start with...

Just thought I'd toss that out there for you battery life savers...
