This is why I have the overclock widget. It has an option for different clock speed when screen is off. So it's set to the lowest two with screen off and highest two with screen on. I make it a full day on one charge with no problems. Also make sure you press the detect frequencies button in andvanced setting. The ones that are defined by default in the widget aren't the ones our processor runs at besides the lowest one I think.

i just flashed it... and nope.. i have all those things! didnt do a factory reset.. just rebooted because of the lack of touchscreen
 
Anyone else having battery problems with this ROM? I'm using R6 and still can't last through the day w/o battery dying. Any ideas?

What worst is that all my phone been in my pocket whole day while I was at work. Everytime i chck my phone for time, the battery drain little by little. Around 11hrs since unplug and Im at 10%. Literally no usage of it at all.
 
For those having issues with the battery life, to temporarily fix the no sleep bug, you can turn off the GPS (Network Location) and then reboot the phone. This will then allow for the phone to sleep... at least it does for me and the Galaxy users with the sleeping issues.

I knew it!! I was checking earlier in the morning and was noticing my battery was draining, I unlock and check the GPS icon was active. I didnt run Maps or anything. So I disable that but didnt reboot. Ill give that a try and see if it saves my phone.

My WiFi is still gone when I come back from sleep mode. I have to re-connect from my WiFi settings every time.

Yes I am, It was weird because I knew i charged my phone last night. It was fully charged and I took it off the charger last night then went to sleep. I woke up and my phones battery was completely dead.
 
Guys... Guys Guys....

When you switch New Rom battery is going to be Really bad with 1.6 to 2.* even 1.5 is this way... The phone has to re-train it's self regarding the battery status! That's why it's always best to let it run Dead after a Full Charge :D

Regarding the wifi issue, the galaxy user's are having the same Problem, which leads to either a driver problem & / or a framework.jar issue...

Remember everything we're running, the Galaxy user's are in the same boat.
I honestly don't have the Time to smali everything & look at what smasung has done to the framework.jar to figure out the issue.

But I understand the issue's everyone is Having, Just Odd I'm not having any of the said Problem's is all...

Thanks for the response BH_MAN. I figured the WiFi thing was related to Galaxy since I read that they were having some problems as well.

I personally took your advice and let my phone drain nearly to dead after installing this ROM, and then charged it back to full. My battery life appears to be just fine, and I'm even using Overclock Widget to max out at 528 mhz whenever I'm using the phone.

And now, how about an update on getting that NexTheme over to us? :D
 
the wifi issue is not that big of a deal, BH_MAN have you ran out of ideas to fix the vibrate and Google voice, I would at least like to see one or the other in your next rom, I know that sounds a little demanding lol, but I think your next rom needs to have a little bit more of a break through, but if you are having a hard time with these bugs, just lets us know out right so we dont have to play the guessing game as to if we will ever see these issues fixed. Anyways hows that recovery goin'?
 
Well I found the issue with Voice search & the Screen freeze issue.. I can fix them, just not yet... It requires releasing file's that I can't currently.

Vib... Like I said before.. I don't have that much time to smali the framework.jar to view the codec right now... still working on the baby room & odd stuff here & there.

Then I stay up late to little ta none sleep working on android.
 
what is the hold back of releasing the proper files, if you don't mind me asking, is there a time frame as to when we might see them?

Man all this work in that baby room, you must be making it look really nice! I would like to see a pic of it when you are finished if you don't mind! If you feel that thats weird for me asking that, then no offense taken lol.

Regarding File's...

No time frame... But I'm not about getting my Source fired either...
 
Does it seem like we might see this file out and about come late next month?
Just wondering if your source knew of approximate time frame.

k, cool, so these files are coming from the same 1.6 firmware that you said you couldn't give to us yet, until it was officially released?

If you want to tell me a little more info on it just PM me ;)
 
OH something is going on here. I let my phone died to reset the phone battery and went to took a nap. Woke up and now there are no apps at all. Apparantly A2SD was working for my phone on the R6, but now it said there are no apps in my phone at all. Thats weird. My SD card is still inserted. Any1 know any remedy to fix it? I tried to reboot many times and it doesnt work.

Edit: Ok got my apps back by turning off USB Debugging mode. But now all apps are FC'ing.
What the fudges is going on?
