Root ( Port ) Galaxy 1.6 on the Behold 2 Final

Anyone else have issues with mms? I just got sent a pic by my girlfriend, and when you click it to look at it, it just shows a black screen for a bit, then goes back to the messages page...
 
I have two, fairly newbish, questions. I'm currently running R7 (thanks BH_Man!).

1. Can I just run the Odin for PDA R8 or do I have to do the OPS Partition again too?
2. Whatever the answer is to above, am I going to loose all my apps like I did when going to R7?

1.) Yes, you need the OPS
2.) Everything gets wiped

Get Titanium Backup and before you Odin, run a full backup of all your apps + data and you will not loose your apps or apps settings. I do it all the time, and Trust me ITS A LIFE/TIME SAVER.

Once you Odin, you can tell it to restore the full backup and you are ready to go in a few min.

I just noticed this!!! lol i went to work today and i always use the 3.5 jack for my speakers and play tunes till i get to work...now when i do it i get to work with a 40% battery...lol come home with dead phone and my ride to work is like 30min..soo ya r8..horrid battery life im sure he'll work on it
 
Just installed R8 and I must say I like where the UI is heading, although it does look very incomplete in the current stage.

The Only things that I am having an issue with at this moment is the lack of "Save Contact to SIM" in the contacts that was there in 1.5 and the lack of exchange in the email app. Is there any way to enable any of those?

ok so i had this texting issue where the screen will uncalibrate meaning i hit like 5 buttons at a time when texting and people didnt notice this but i found out that this ONLY happens when the phone is on the CHARGE, so when i charge and text its all f'ed up, but soon as i unplug works flawlessy like magic...lol wierd huh
