Root ( Port ) Galaxy 1.6 on the Behold 2 Final

Feel like a total n00b but I'm trying to install and when ever i try putting my bh2 in download mode it just turns on. What am I doing wrong?? I'm not a total idiot I'm really goodworth computers but I just got my first android device and I'm just getting into this stuff

Hold the volume down button...keep it held, then press the enter button (small circle in the middle of the physical keys), while both of them are being held down hold down the end (hang up/ power) key. all while the phone is off...hold for a few seconds and should work.
 
So when I installed ODIN I didnt have fully charged battery. But I did let it die all the way and charge while off. Is it going to make a difference? What should I do?
 
Quick question. Anyone else not able to change th sound when you get a text? I can change the notification option but it just changes the sound played when plug into charger ect. but it doesnt change the sound I get when I receive a text. Any help? Thanks
 
Just wondering if BH man is still working on R9? I know he has been a busy busy man working on the 1.6 stock with\without Twiz, which has awesome results but just really like all the features Galaxy has to offer (Direct Dial is the coolest...LOL). But still would like some of the features working (Vib IF possible), NO pressure or anything...LOL. Just wondering Thanks.
 
Not to speak for him but I think he's got the older roms on hold. His main focus is on Android 2.1 atm. He has pretty much all the major bugs worked out and is trying to let others do any sort of theme modifications. I think he may go back to R9 at some point but when/if 2.1 comes out I think very few will be using this rom. As for R9 it would most likely be just minor bug fixes. Even the No TW 1.6 is not going to see any updates unless they are quick.
The Stock TW 1.6...is well, not REALLY by him. It is as the name states "Factory". Digging any further into where the ROM came from is not going to be discussed.
For Vibrate on the 1.6 Galaxy... He stated numerous times he has neither the time nor desire to fix it and would like someone else to look into it. Vibrate is not a big deal for him he doesn't use it.

Not Fixable by Me at this time ( Likely can be Fixed, but > )... I have already Posted the De-odex Frameworks ( Which is Needed for Any Modification ) so People can take a Look at it... At this point the Framework.jar gets Broken during De-Odexing & we Lose Data / Calling... Which is Pointless just to fix Vibrate.. they need smali to make any changes to the odex regarding source code / Java code....

Regarding R9,
Yes I'll still be working on it, I have R9 in a Folder where I left of at, just trying to get Behold 2 1.6 no Twiz working 100% first...

Time Issue's...
In the Last Few Day's I've not had anytime to work on Android at all, Right now I'm the Only one Out of my Friends that is working on the Behold 2 & Capped on Free Time At the Moment, sorry about this...

Does anyone know where i can find the music player from R8. I went to the BH 2 1.6 release but would like this music player. I saw it in the market last week but can't fiind it now and google is not pulling anything up. Any help would be great! Thanks for your time!
