Hi All,
Not sure if anyone has tried this but Mr. RK says GB/CM 7 porting is possible provided the processor / hardware models/vendor should be similar.

You may try it at your own risk. Follow the steps very carefully. I guess you should be fine keeping backup of your current ROM. However, I am not responsible for any bricking.
