Porting Apps & Progress

I'm getting a new phone soon and I'd love to transfer the progress is a few of the games that I have on my current phone. Just transferring the APK file doesn't seem to work. I also tried backing it up on Titanium Backup and couldn't port that file to another droid. Any ideas? Thanks

Carrier: Sprint

Current Phone:
HTC Evo 4g
Rooted w/ Cyanogen 7

New Phone:
Samsung Galaxy S3

There is a folder called data on the main file drive. You can try transferring that over. If your game stores extra data (eg.Gameloft games) after installing, then locate the data folder where it stored the graphics and data files. If you move that over, the save data goes with it.
