POS droid

This phone is and has been for about a year a total POS.

It has space for an SD card, so of course I put an 8GB in when I bought the phone a year ago.

However it will not use the card. All apps and data are in the tiny phone memory so nothing will ever load from Market and I am always getting "short of memory" messages.

Yet the SD card shows 7.40 GB of formatted space with near 7 GB of that available. That is GB mind you not MB.

The POS phone storage has about 3 MB available yet this thing is too stupid to reach over into the SD card and use all that nice empty space.

In looking at other phones to buy even the soon to be released HTC Superphone the Sensation has very limited room for apps.

Is this a conspiracy against us users or is there some reason for the limitation?

TMobile tells me I can actually upgrade early. Anyone have any suggestions on a phone that works?

BTW, I know the OS update is supposed to fix this problem but it doesn't. All the "move to SD card" choices are greyed out. The only one of my apps I could move was the wifi analyzer.

The phone is old, most phones that old dont have mass amounts of storage and ram. Look at the G1 specs. You can root it and free up ALOT of space. Or get any newer phone. A friend of mine has a MT4G and i was quite impressed.
