Good things about poison Ivy.....

Once you have had it, you learn to appreciate long pants/socks while hiking. You will then also be watchful for it while in the woods.
You learn all about skin creams, and different techniques to stop the itching... [emoji6]

I always complain I need new socks so I was blessed with about 30 new pairs.
10 pair of boot socks
10pair of running socks
10pair of ankle socks

It is the little things that make me happy lol

OK, home from a lovely Xmas visit.

In an effort to lower the heat - it was kinda shut off. OK - it was off.

A bit of smell from the kitchen - in an effort to enjoy a hot brunch before the road last Wednesday, the big skillet got turned to low instead of off.

But the brunt of the cold front passed our house and gave us a VERY snowy Christmas up north.

And the front bathroom has just a small leak putting some water on the floor.

Maybe if it weren't for the forgotten flame on a big skillet, all of the pipes may have burst from freezing.

Two wrongs don't make a right - but maybe, sometimes, three do.

It's finally starting to feel like winter. I'm glad I don't do anything for new years lol I will be nice and warm at home with a few fingers of Bourbon and my remote control......
I'm not sure if I'll break open the bottle of Makers 46 or go splurge on a bottle of Woodford Reserve.
