Ok, so here is my idea, and I apologize in advance if this has already been asked/posted, or if i posted in the wrong place, if its in the wrong place feel free to move it, or inform me, delete this thread and I will post/look in the appropriate place.
Android device to act as a wired keyboard via usb cable. I am not sure if this could be done exactly as I am not keen on the programming side. now before anyone goes ripping this idea up and tearing it down....here is the background/reasoning for the idea, I work at a call center where I have to put in trouble tickets, the tickets have parts in them that requires me to type the same stuff over and over and over again, instead of copy/paste from a notepad opened on my already cluttered screen, i would like to be able to have some of the commonly used phrases saved as "hot keys" so that I can just touch the button and have it type out whatever it was set to where the cursor is at on the pc.
the reason I say "Wired" is if this would work, i am thinking (and I could be wrong here so please if you have exp. writing apps correct me) I could fire up such an app on my phone, and hook it up to the pc as if its a standard USB keyboard.
