Possible fault

[Android Question]

My Samsung Galaxy Ace is only 6 weeks old and has developed a problem.
When i make a call the screen goes blank and will not respond to touch. If i call someone and they do not answer there is no way for me to end the call. It just keeps ringing...arrrrr!

Have you checked that there is nothing covering the light sensor (dirt, a bit of a phone case)? If that is covered then the phone might think it is being help to your head, which turns the screen off when you are in a call, so this could produce the problem you are seeing.
