Possible good news about FroYo

According to Samsung Hub a Samsung official has confirmed that Android 2.2 will be released at the end of July to early August on the Korean version of the phone and that all their modifications will be ready for that release.

This does not include the other Galaxy S versions but I would guess that they are using Korea as a test run and if that goes well the broad release of FroYo shouldn't be far behind.

Note that Samsung Hub only writes "early August" but from what I can gather from the original Korean source the official said what I initially wrote above.
 
thanx mate for the news, i will be disappointed if they didnt update the UK versions
 
Im pretty sure early august is too early for samsung, im thinking the earliest would be late september
 
Well if us in the UK could get the update before Xmas ill consider it a nice present from samsung
