Possible to adjust orientation threshold?

Hi.

All I want to do is have my phone screen stay on whenever I am holding it.

Ive figured out how to do this but it requires me to hold the phone near vertically to engage.

Is there any way I can change what tasker considers up right?

Also I want the phone screen to switch off automatically when I lay the phone flat but haven't figured out how to do this.

I'm not rooted.

Any ideas on either please?

Thanks. :-)

I've managed to get the phone to switch off the screen when the phone is placed flat, face up but the trouble is sometimes I'm holding the phone almost flat so it turns off when I don't want it to.

Any ideas what additions I can make?

Also, still can't figure out how to make the screen stay on if it's moved a few degrees less than horizontal. I'm using orientation straight up.

If I could have it detecting the slightest hint of motion somehow, that's all I'd need.

Thanks.

Thanks Kit.

I did think of that and it seems to be a logical choice but for some reason I don't ever do that. I like seeing if there's anything flashing or if I've missed anything. I always leave my phone face up.

There must be a way I reckon.
