Help Possible to Adjust Space Between Columns?

Thank you, Milo. My app doesn't have Page Layout, only Home, Insert, View, Review, and Pen. Perhaps that's because I'm still using the free version, and you have a subscription.

Nope,all free version :) I have it on my p.c.
 
Looking at your image, I'm still not sure you can change the space between columns. If you click the Columns item, do you just get to choose how many columns, or can you change the distance between two columns from 0.5 inch to 0.25 inch, for example.?
 
I think so,but I normally just write on it,that area is pretty vague on myself.
