Root possible to edit app's cache limmit when rooted?

bombadill

Lurker
i have an app that crashes WAY to offten. Once it crashed you have to go in and "clear app data" and clear cache. to me this is absurd. So is it possible to adjust the max cache size? seems to crash when app data is at 300kb and cache is at 0.98MB to me these sizes seem ridiculously small

Let's start with some more information please. Which app is it? Which device are you asking about?

AFAIK, even when rooted you are at the individual apps mercy as far as how much cache it uses. The only way around this would be to find a way to build the app your way from scratch.

Thx.
