My phone has been unable to connect to a PC through USB for months now, after trying multiple USB cords and computers, I believe the problem may be the USB port on the phone itself.
The Verizon rep said if it is the port the phone can be replaced under warranty, but the warranty will expire after tomorrow and I'll need to take it to a Verizon store to have them check it out first.
I'm worried if they see I'm not using stock software they won't honor the warranty... so is there any way to return to stock without using Odin?
I've had the phone since last January and used Odin to flash the ROM/kernel/radio. Not sure of the names exactly since it's been so long, but my phone info is showing:
firmware version: 2.1-update1
Basband version: S:i500.04 V.DJ05
Kernel version: 2.6.29
Thanks for any assistance! And sorry if this was covered elsewhere, I didn't see anything similar when searching.
