Possibly dumping S4 to get M8

I'm not gonna recap my whole story but it's posted in the Lounge. I just want solid hardware and good signal and the front facing speakers would be good too.

I'm tired of replacing my phone an average of every 3 months. I use very little stock Samsung apps other than the clock and calendar but those might just be Android. Touchwiz is laggy and KitKat ruined some things for me. I wish I could get the Droid DNA camera on the M8 but I will be OK.

Is there anything I need to know that may sway me or help me make sure I'm making the right choice?
