So I recently performed a factory reset (common process ~6 months or so, second time with this device). only now I seem to have lost some basic functionality. I believe I reinstalled everything I had, everything is updated, etc
I am currently unable to do either of the following:
1) data transfer onto PC. it reads there is a link connection, begins charging, but neither auto-detects the drive or asks me if it wants to do anything more than charge.
2) forced backup onto Google Drive, I use it frequently and occasionally send normal files there for multi-system use. [Gallery app], in this instance doesn't have any of the options it did have before the reset where I could ship selected images and files to there for later use. In fact the only options I have is a) delete or b) create highlight reel.
Anybody have a similar issue or know what's going on? Like I said the first time I reset the device it went back fine.
