Help Post Froyo Picture Messaging Problem

I just discovered that I cannot send SMS picture messages to my Google/Vibrant contacts directly using my contact list to address the message. On the other hand, if I address the SMS picture message with the phone number (without parentheses which are stored on Google) the picture message will send without a problem.

According to the Tmobile rep I spoke with this is a known issue. Anyone else have this issue? If so, just enter the phone number manually with no parentheses
