Help Post-Root Help

I was able to get a USB cord and I have successfully rooted my Samsung Admire. I've got a few questions that hopefully someone will be able to help me out with.

1. I've downloaded and installed Titanium Backup
(free version) and this is the only process I've done.....

Open > Menu > Batch > Back Up All User Apps

I let the program back all my apps up, and now my question is, can I delete some MetroPCS apps, like "MyExtras" without screwing up my phone? Also, what's the best way to do this process? Just click on the "Uninstall" button or should I click the "Freeze" button. What's the difference?

2. Wireless Tether - I've downloaded and installed this application from the market and tried to start a connection with my laptop. I had something come up that said "Starting hostapd failed" But it's giving me a Download speed of 426.9kB and Upload of 5.79MB. Is there something I'm just overlooking? How can I get it to work?

Here are a couple of screenshots of my phone......

You need the donate version of titanium backup to freeze apparently :D the difference is that uninstalling will completely rid of them while freezing them will basically disable them but they are still there and you can unfreeze them whenever you need :)

As for the tether thing, try a different app and see if that helps, other than that I have no idea??

you can uninstall the following without harming your phone
myextras
metro411
mail@metro
visual voicemail
metro navigator
metro easy wifi (this allows you to connect to any of the metro hot spots free, but still wont harm your device if deleted)
