Root Post rooting battery problem

I rooted my evo last nite and I noticed since that point my battery has sucked. I ALWAYS use wifi at home and this isnt another battery complaining post cuz I can get 24 plus hrs of battery on mine but after last nite I check battery use and wow display is way up like 20 percent that may not be high for some ppl if they have live wallpapers or something but my display was always like 4 percent. Also my android system is way up like into the 60's. I dont use a task manager never have I know on here it says not to I just go to the running services and close the few things there, after restarting the phone the most to close a bunch of stuff. Any ideas why my battery has gotten a little worse I didnt get a rom or nothing i just rooted and still on adw launcher

Sounds like you may have a wake lock so your phone isn't sleeping. When you go to menu>about phone>battery, is your uptime and awake time just about the same?
