Post Rooting Questions

Ok so i have successfully rooted my phone, but now I have a problem.

1. I was playing around with droidroothelper and I flashed the skull theme to see what it is like with a custom theme and I did not really like it so I clicked install default theme and all it did was reboot and keep the skull theme. Now I do not know how to get rid of it and return the original theme.

2. I installed MetaMorph to play around with some themes but every time I try to run it it tells me that either busybox is not installed, which it is because I got the skull theme, or to check the amount of memory in /system. I have no clue how to get it to work.

3. I have no clue how to erase unneeded apps like AmazonMP3.

Any help is appreciated.

P.S. I posted in Support and Troubleshooting and got no answers at all.

There may be easier ways to accomplish this, but here's what I did. Download "Root Explorer" I think its a buck maybe $2 either way well worth it. Open it up.
.Scroll to "System" and tap
.Tap on the "App" folder
.Tap "Mount R/W" on the top right of screen.
.Long press any app and tap delete.

When you're finished tap "Mount R/O" in the top right and exit.

And be careful only to delete what you're sure you dont want.

It might be a better idea to rename them in Root Explorer instead of completely deleting them. You won't free up any space on the internal memory, but they won't show up on your app list.

If you completely delete them, and a future OTA update needs to screw around with it but can't find it, you *MIGHT* find yourself with a bricked phone. That's worst case scenario, of course.

But possible.

How can I rename them?

Same way as deleting them, long press the app you want and tap on "Rename" then just add a ".bak" at the end of it or anything you want really as long as it's not ending it ".apk"
