I've been working on some new themes for a while now, this ones starting to grow on me. Still needs a fair amount of tweeking
 
i wish i didnt have to celebrate christmas either. your hanukkah holiday seems so much nicer with all those gifts over so many days. very nice theme also as usual :)
 
Something I'm working on at the moment. Been inspired by Ruck's work a bit. This is kind of an early draft and nowhere near finished.

please tell me, i see that all the icons and the back ground are custom, then some of them have these buttons which are pictures and whatever, it all looks fantastic. what do i need to build themes like this?

what do you use to build themes like this? i'm using pandahome right now, but how do i do what you do ? what program do i need?
 
andiec u need to get LauncherPro from the market then buy LauncherPro Icons and u can download all the icons and dock backgrounds u want

I use launcher pro for the bottom (gmail, contact, mms and http icons). The clock is clockr or minimalistic text (I can't remember the exact one in that photo) and the calendar is calwidget. The wallpaper, I took and added the facebook, games, camera and reader text to and use desktop visualizer with a transparent icon to link that text to the appropriate app.

All my stuff is done in Launcher Pro+ (so you can resize widgets) and the calls/meesages/FB/Twitter widgets are by Pure Messenger. The settings I used are in Pure Messenger are:

Text: Small / White
Skin: Transparent
Hidden: Icons and Blank lines

Quick question about Launcher Pro - I've tried looking for it in the market place, but I can't find anything just called "Launcher Pro."

There's a load of similar stuff like "Wake Up Launcher Pro" and "Launcher Pro Decal" but nothing just called Launcher Pro.

Can someone tell me which one I need, and whether my phone needs to be rooted to use it?

Here you go: You don't need to root your phone. It's free but worth upgrading to pro if you want real control on your layout. Support the dev too, it is one of the best launchers out there.
