:( Is feeling very insignificant with his GT540 that has a very small screen and just doesn't look right in comparison to HTC :(

The last screens for my Optimus V, which is now my mom's.

She doesn't really get the app drawer thing, so I made big icons and folders for her. SMS Unreadcount mod blue, Brilliant Quotes, Fancy Widget weather, Minimalistic Text, Music Mod that really should be resized once I completely understand xml, and some big icons that need work/suggestions and look better on my new Triumph. :)

I see you all have great looking docking stations for your phones with minimal text and different fonts and designs on my droid x how can I change the docking station so it can just have words instead of apps. like gmail, text, phone etc?

you need an a homescreen replacement app such as ADW or GO Launcher EX to be able to change your dock icons and the Simple Text Icons app is a good choice for making text icons. Once you have your homescreen replacement up and running, longpress on your dock icon and follow the popup menus to change the icon.(i dont know exactly what all the popup menus for all the different homescreen replacements say,but it should be self-explanatory once you see it) at some point you should see the option to choose Simple Text Icon, which will then open and allow you to make your icon. Hope that all makes sense!

Edit: Simple Text Icons lets you use your own fonts-use a file explorer app (es file explorer, astro) to make a folder on your sdcard called 'fonts',then you can download whatever fonts you like and put them into that folder. when your in the simple text app,go into settings and you can tell it which folder to look in for fonts-choose the 'fonts' folder you created.

nobody make fun of this! i just got my first android phone today and i've been messing around with it for a couple of hours and i dont think i did so bad. i used adw launcher & minimalistic text. i don't like the way the text looks. too tahoma/verdana-ish looking. i want helvetica style, but there isn't the option. wp is an old national geographic scan.

it's very minimal.

I don't have a decent looking lockscreen yet.

If you want more options for fonts in Minimalistic text , make a folder on your sd card named fonts . Go to Dafonts or something similar, and download the fonts you want and put them in your font folder. In MT go to global settings >fonts folder and choose your folder you made. You should now have new fonts to choose from.

My new theme project (silent hill), just finished it after many hours of work :)
I have made the desktop, icons and the lockscreen in same grunge style.
