Would usually be a bit better but I was without a signal 42% of the time (bad signal means more battery used maintaining a connection and searching for a signal)

Not bad!

Hmm, I'm looking forward to this thread developing. I'm hoping to at least see 14-18 hours of use on a Samsung Galaxy S III, with say around 2-3 hours of screen use...

That's what I was getting on my HTC One X.

Should be easy. I'm really impressed with the battery. As with any new toy I'm using it excessively right now, but usually I'd never use it for four hours a day so its easily going to last me.

I haven't really used any battery saving tips either other than turning off twitter updates. I've got Bluetooth and nfc turned on even though I haven't needed them.

I'm pretty sure i get about a whole day out of my phone , from 8 in the morning till about 12/1 at night before i put it on charge again....looking back at all the things i do i find i do actually get quite a lot of battery out of the device. wifi on, security apps on, browsing and downloading from play and its my nice quality screen that takes up most the battery, love it. its not bad at all....considering i got a day and half out of my iPhone...which i didn't use as much and had to keep screen to low brightness, I'm quite impressed, lets hope i continue to look after my battery!

Managing to get a full day+ out of my phone. The battery percent doesn't seem to move at all when screen off and when screen on it's still incredible.
One problem I have is that it goes down to 90% so quickly once off charge, then seems to slowly-never depleat.

My friends son plays on my phone for a few hours a day (angry birds, copter, temple run..) and I do too, plus add texting ontop of that and a phonecall for 10 minutes or so and by 11pm I'm down to 18% I think it's pretty damn good!!
Even when hitting 15% and my phone telling me to charge I know I can still get another hour or more out of it so I don't worry, unlike my DHD which I was constantly watching the battery as it depleated far too fast.

I have a question in general about the battery, is it bad to charge the phone when it's only on like 70%? Or should I wait until it's empty more or less?

Partial charges and discharges are fine.

Discharging 25% then recharging 25% and repeating this four times will have the same effect on your battery as discharging and charging 100%
