Post your Galaxy Note 8 Home Screen

Yeah I ripped off a lot of Willy's ideas..
:)

I bought galaxy pack so there's like tons of these animated thingies. But for now im rocking this one.

Yeah man you can stare at this sucker .............

Plus these take advantage of ther accelerometer in the phone so as you move the phone the "galaxy" will move..

Yeah that weather widget is fully customizable. You can remove a lot of the stuff off there. I do agree the weartheer is a but redundant. Ill go fix that... still learning and setting this thing up after nearly a week of use...

What widget style option are you using for the weather app? I've tried the 4x1, 5x2 but I can't get them to look as compact as yours looks.

If you're asking me,

That widget is "stretched" to fit across the screen , so the weather and time and stuff is all one widget, just stretched to fit the top, if that makes sense.

Makes sense, I stretched mine too, but it looks taller, and the temperature is under the sun instead of on the left of it. When I added the widget, it has several different options to choose from, and I just can't get it to look the same.

Hopefully Transparent Clock & Weather is customizable - it shows your battery % and temperature, both of which are already in the notification bar. And @WeeWilly the widget says it's 96 degrees and your notification bar says it's 85... who's lying?

:p
@The_Chief, I turned off the battery % display in the widget and the different temperature displays were the result of me being old and forgetful. I had two weather apps running, each with a different update frequency. I have the premium version of the Transparent Clock & Weather widget and it has all sorts of features and customizations. I have yet to find a better clock and weather widget, but I'm always open to suggestions. Here's the new look:

Yeah, thanks for the Transparent Weather and Clock widget recommendation. I had been using Beautiful Widget, but TWCW is simpler and cleaner.

Cleared out several apps the last couple of days, and the Transport Weather app saved me 1/2 the space that I had, using Weather Bug.
Only thing is the temps don't agree with any other Weather app (or the NWS, for that matter. Got it now where it's within 3°.

The Galaxy Note 8 features a Samsung Theme store to tweak most areas of the UI. It's pretty robust and with a combination of 3rd party launchers, wallpapers -- you can really make the phone look all your own.

Mine is a work in progress, but here's what I've got so far. I'm trying out a few different icon packs (using awesome icons) and the background is set to NASA's astronomy photo of the day using IFTTT.

Honestly guys, I haven't used live wallpapers in maybe 4 years... but this new Earth & Moon wallpaper which just got updated last month is STUNNING and barely consumes any battery life!!
