This was one of my favorite threads on the GNex forums so I thought I'd keep it going here.
Edit: Okay, kicking this off. This is what I've come up with so far...
Nova Launcher. HD Widgets. One More Clock.
I just want to point out this is one of the great center features of android. Looking at this screenshot, I use almost none of those apps and they would never be on my center homescreen. Twitter, Gmail, weather app, flashlight, gallery.....all fairly low use apps to me. Yet to you they must be used often. We both have the same phone, use it completely differently, and yet android can make us both happy. Android=customization to unique needs. Cool stuff.

What weather widget is that? I like it.
Its called Eye in the Sky Weather. Its fantastic and also has the option for a notification shade spot with more information that I love. It can be customized in just about every way. Also, free.

I have no idea. It is an image that came pre-installed on the Maxx. Long press on the screen and choose Wallpapers then choose Wallpapers.

What weather widget is that and how did you get your icons to group that way? Is that unique to the Maxx?
It's very strange that it actually shows backgrounds on the widgets because they don't show up on my screen.

For those of you running custom launchers such as Nova, does it have any effect on the custom software features, such as Active Display or Touchless Control? I wouldn't expect custom launchers to cause conflicts, but I haven't seen that confirmed anywhere.
I'm using Nova Launcher Prime and the only thing I've noticed so far is that the Circles Widget fails to load. Error message from widget saying it is not supported under third party launchers.

I hid my notification bar with Nova and installed the google search bar.
