I use nothing but those Anker braided cords. You pay a bit more, but they never tangle and the ends don't break.

Do you ever use the kickstand on the case? I can't say I've ever found a need for it.

I do if I am watching media on break or lunch at work, additionally, when we travel my phone (whether the N6, OG Pixel or now my 2XL) is always our "media device" and we often snuggle in bed and watch a movie in the hotel, tent or whatever. It's nice to have but I have never bought a case "just" for the kickstand. I like this case and it had one and the price was right!



Also - yea the Anker braided cables are the superior choice, if you don't have them, get them. They are best quality and yea never kink never go bad at the connection. I have one I bought for the N6 like 2 years ago and it's still kicking.

So my free Google Home Mini turned into two Google Home Mini's, 2 LIFX RGB bulbs and a WEMO switch. So I have lights, garage door and Nest all on the home automation and it's pretty neat-o.

I have the Liftmaster (Chamberlain) Jackshaft 8500 with the MyQ. It works with a $10 a year subscription to IFTTT.

It's cool cause when I get within a certain geotag my garage door opens. Which is super cool when I am walking the dog.

Oh, right. I did look into that and thought it was rather silly to have to pay for that, so I didn't. I just use the MyQ app for alerts and the occasional door lose.
