Potential Upgrades to Camcorder?

Hey.

I'm wondering if it is possible for a firmware update to increase the current 15fps video recording. (I believe it's 15fps)

Don't get me wrong the quality is watchable, but I'm just wondering if it is potentially possible for the firmwares (or custom) to actually up the framerate a tad?

Thats an interesting question , I'd like to know also but for my HTC Magic.

But , I think this would only be realistic if the hardware {camera} can support higher frames per second.

So Does anyone know if 1) The software {android} could improve it 2) If the camera on the Hero and Magic could support it?

My Camera is Vodafone UK 32B board , 3.1 Megapixel if that helps

Have you noticed a variance between Qik and Camcorder or any other video app? That might start to clue us in to the limits.

Different resolution but same quality.
