Help power button broken

i managed to do some water damage to the power/lock button on my phone. this hasn't been a problem for a while as i've just been letting it lock itself and i haven't bothered to turn it off. i dropped my phone tonight and the battery fell out, turning the phone off... well, i don't have a working power button to turn it back on. is there any way to work around this? i've tried plugging in the phone and unplugging it when the LG screen comes up, but it just turns back off.

That may not be a power button issue.
