Help power button issues?

Hi all,

does anyone sometimes have to press the power button (when phone is completely turned off) twice (2 presses to turn on) sometimes?...

so just to confirm

- handset is off
- push power button once (sometimes doesnt come on
- push for second time (and powers up)

im defiantly pushing for long enough


iv have no issues with the button at all when in the UI or when locking/unlocking display

iv done a few tests where i have turned off. then went to switch on, with the same pressure and sometimes it starts with one, sometimes it starts with two presses,


do u think this is a fault? anyone experience this? normal?

Yes!

However, sometimes it is even more than twice I need to press the power button. I dont know if it is faulty or just a common issue.

Only happens when the device is completely powered off. Never happens on Stand-bye.

Glad I am not alone.
 
Have had this happen to me once, thought my phone had died for a sec...

I have had it a few times the screen hasn't locked for more than half a second before turning on though when turning off the screen with the power button. Little frustrating but nothing major thankfully.
 
would be interested for other people to test a few times

why do i turn it off? well sometimes i just feel like breaking away from my phone life haha

am thinking its just how it is...

i also get sometimes when i have to do more then twice but its usually twice only or once...
 
From what Im used to, I hold the power button down until the bottom select keys light up. I dont normally just tap it once or twice.
