Help Power button very sensitive

Hello, I'm not new to the forums but I went MIA for a while
I bought a galaxy s3 that constantly wants to restart/turn on and I think it has something to do with the power/lock button being too sensitive because running my finger through it would cause the screen to lock/turn off

any ideas on how i could fix this issue?

You should take the phone into a repair center for a tech to check it out for you.

I would just try turning the device completely off. Then remove the battery. Wait 30 seconds and put the battery back in and turn it back on.

If you still have this issue, you could have a defective unit and should take it to a repair centre.
