Help power button wont work and need alarm

ok so i have a samsung epic 4g and the power button wont work so i can't turn it back on. but i have my alarm set for the morning and need it for work. it's on the charger right now but just can't get it to turn on, will the alarm still go off in the morning? also will that turn my phone on? and is there any other way possible to turn it on besides the power button? please answer asap

You've probably already found out that your alarm did not go off (Android is not like BlackBerry in that regard). It sounds like you have a hardware issue and you should take it to the Sprint store for service / replacement. I do not know of any other alternative to turn on the phone besides the power button.
