Only when I used lock screen apps. When I was using lock bot app I noticed my power button wouldn't wake the phone when I pressed it, I'd have to press it a couple times for it to wake. As for sticking issues I've read around where others have had physical problems with the button sticking and they've taken a tint flat head screwdriver and wiggled it a lil with the back cover off to loosen it up and that solved the issue. Hope this advice helps ya out a lil bit.

It happened to me. That's the main reason why I ended up in this board.
My temporary solution (before it came back to life again for no reason, nobody really knew how to fixe this), was to download an app called Screen Off Proximity Sensor (search these words, it will come up on google play store).
Basically it allows you to turn on and off your screen with the proximity of anything to the phone's sensor (the same one you use when you're calling someone). It sucks, indeed, but it's a temporary solution till it gets better again.
I hope this works for you.
(you can set the app settings for how long you which the sensor to be trigged to turn on/off)

thank you I will try the app and see if the screw driver will help. Wouldn't be as bad of an annoyance if it was the volume button but trying to turn it on if I have it turned off is a hassle.
