Does anyone know if there are any apps that allow you to generate an alert if your rate of battery power consumption rises above a set threshold, for a set interval of time? Right now, the only way I know that something has gone haywire somewhere in the system is that I suddenly begin to notice the phone feeling distinctly warm in my pocket. When that happens I take it out, check what's using power, can't see anything that looks abnormal, but restart the operating system anyway. Then things go back to normal, and the percentage of battery power remaining stops it's accelerated plunge. I am now running Kitkat on my Note 3, and this is an issue that occasionally has happened both on Jellybean and Kitkat.
