Help power drain

i have a hudl 2 and for the last week whever i recharge the battery the power drains whether i am using it or not. is this something i can fix myself or will i have to send it away somewhere.if its gonna cost a lot i just as well get something new.i have had it just over 2 years

The expected lifespan of a battery is a little under 2 years, after which depending how it was used it will start to degrade. I think you just need a new battery
